Kowa produces activated carbon derived from coconut shells
at its company - PJAC (Philippines - Japan Active Carbon Corporation) in Davao
City, on the island of Mindanao Philippines (Mindanao has the world's largest
concentration of coconut trees ensuring a continuous local supply of raw materials).
After 30 years of operation, PJAC is now the third largest producer of coconut
shell carbon in the world. We also have factories in India.
