Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate comes from a mixture of glutamic acid, lauric acid, and sodium which functions as a surfactant or foam maker. Used as an SLG as a gentle cleanser and is more suitable for sensitive skin. SLG material is better than SLS because it has a very light, hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic foam.

SLG also comes from natural sources, namely from coconut oil and is very biodegradable (easily decomposed). SLG is also an alternative to SLS as a gentle cleanser for facial and scalp skin and does not cause irritation to skin or eyes. You can find this SLG ingredient in the Swissvita Micrite 3D All Use Cleanser Cream product, so it is suitable for all skin types without irritation.
