Application
Bromoacetic acid is mainly used for N-terminal bromoacylation of resin-bound peptides. [1] [2]
It can also be used:
• To synthesize acetic acid (Z) -2- (cyclooct-4-en-1-yloxy). [3]
• To synthesize α-bromo-phenylacetamide. [4]
• To convert aromatic thiosemycarbonazone to thiazolylhydrazones. [5]
