General description

Benzamide in radioiodination with different labeling procedures produces large-scale production of radioiodinated benzamide which has potential therapeutic applications for patients with metastatic malignant melanomas [1].

Application

Benzamide is used to study the mechanism of photocatalytic decomposition of aqueous solutions of acetic acid, acetamin and acetonitrile in the presence of semiconductors [2]. It was used to develop a strong screening method to study biotransformation using (+) - γ-lactamase enzymes [3].
